Fifth Annual Mardi Gras Casino Night & Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament - On Saturday,April 6, 2013, Ocala Aquatics will be hosting the Fourth Annual Ocala Aquatics Mardi Gras Casino Night and Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament hosted by the Ocala Hilton from 7 PM until midnight.

This fundraiser will be a fun and enjoyable event with more than 400 people expected to attend. There will be a silent auction, a 50/50 drawing and a MANY prizes, including a 2013 Mazda Miata donated by Jenkins Auto Group! Food and non-alcoholic drinks provided by Ocala Hilton as well as a cash bar.

Proceeds raised from this event will contribute to the fund for the pool facilities and operational expenses for Ocala Aquatics. Ocala Aquatics serves the community with a wide range of programs, from children to adult swim lessons and teams, to wellness classes, life guarding and community memberships, to name a few.

For Mardi Gras Casino Night, the tickets are $45 per person or $85 per couple,and the Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament ticket is $75 per person. (Either ticket will get you into the event.) Tickets will be available for purchase at the Newton A. Perry Aquatic Center (located on the College of Central Florida) or Brick City Title. Cocktails/ Silent Auction: 7:00 pm
Be sure to turn in your ticket stubs for the Door Raffle and your complimentary 50 Aqua-Bucks. Donations can be made for additional Aqua-Bucks at a 5-to-1 ratio. Items for the Silent Auction will be displayed around the venue with suggested starting price, retail value and bidding increments. If you would like to bid please write your name neatly on the bidding sheet with the desired amount.

Casino Floor Opens/ Door Raffle Drawn: 7:30 pm
Throughout the evening you will have opportunity to exchange your casino winnings into raffle tickets for a chance to win one of the fabulous gift baskets of your choice.

Texas Hold 'Em Tournament Begins: 8:30 pm
These ticket holders will find their chips at the tables when the emcee announces the start of the tournament. You will have opportunity to donate for additional chips up to the 2nd round. If eliminated from tournament, you will be invited to go to the casino for continued play.

Silent Auction Concludes: 10:00 pm
In the great words of Cuba Gooding Jr. “SHOW ME THE MONEY”!!! Remember, it’s a FUNdraiser, so lets have some FUN.

Texas Hold’Em Tournament Concludes: 10:15 pm
Top 3 chip holders will receive grand prizes.

Central Florida Marlins - The Marlins Swim Club is a professionally coached organization whose first commitment is to the development of the swimmers in the program.
